After a long 5 years since its first publication of this newsletter, Mendaki decided to have a new and improved look. I decided to give this newsletter a fresh look by using vibrant colours, polygon graphics and a magazine-like layout to break the monotony of the text. Each new article was being represented by a change in colour so that readers would not get jaded easily. The typefaces were chosen carefully to ensure the best readability on print and online.
Another improvement made was giving the logo a new look. I decided to add some character to it, by extending the hook on the X. The colour remained changeable so that it could be in sync with the colour of that publication.
